Overview

The Simrad NSS12 evo3S is a network-capable marine multifunction display for chartplotting, fishfinding and control of connected electronics. The iMX 8 high-performance processor supports responsive chart, sonar and radar views, while the 12-inch optically bonded SolarMAX IPS display provides wide viewing angles in changing light conditions and remains viewable with polarized sunglasses.

Fishing and sonar capabilities

The built-in 1 kW CHIRP sonar supports bottom tracking and fish target interpretation. This SKU is sold as the world-basemap display package; no transducer should be assumed included. Sonar frequencies and advanced imagery depend on the external transducer configuration.

Navigation, charts and vessel control

A world basemap is included. More detailed chart coverage requires a compatible chart product. Depending on configuration, NSS12 evo3S can support chart perspectives, radar overlay, connected engine and fuel monitoring, CZone digital switching, HALO radar and Simrad autopilot integration. These external devices and chart upgrades are optional and not included with the core display package.
