Sonar and imaging explained

CHIRP / conventional sonar: useful for following depth changes, distinguishing fish targets and reading bottom returns. Supported frequencies depend on the connected transducer. The included TotalScan supports 83/200 kHz and Medium/High CHIRP.

DownScan Imaging: provides a detailed, downward-looking representation of submerged structure beneath the boat, helping differentiate cover from the surrounding bottom.
