A benchmark for big bait fishing and trophy predators

Power and control for heavy freshwater fishing

The Lew’s Super Duty 300 casting reel stands out as a premium option for anglers targeting large freshwater predators. Its generous line capacity and reinforced gearing allow anglers to cast swimbaits up to 250 g with confidence. Outstanding smoothness is provided by Hamai CNC-machined brass gears and seven stainless steel ball bearings. The MSB braking system, combining an external magnetic adjustment with internal centrifugal brakes, delivers total line control even in windy conditions. This precise casting management dramatically reduces the risk of backlashes during long sessions using oversized lures.

Saltwater versatility: from seabass to pollock on wrecks

Although originally praised for freshwater predator fishing, this reel performs equally well during saltwater outings. Its 89 cm retrieve per handle turn is ideal for working soft lures or jigs over wrecks in depths of 30 meters and beyond. Anglers targeting pollock and red seabream particularly appreciate the exceptionally smooth audible drag system, which provides valuable sound feedback during the most violent runs. The one-piece aluminum frame ensures excellent structural rigidity to withstand the power of hard-fighting saltwater species without flexing. With a maximum drag power of 10.9 kg, this reel is a versatile tool designed to secure your catches in demanding conditions.

Rugged engineering designed for angler comfort

The ergonomics of this model have been carefully designed to maintain optimal fishing comfort despite the power required for heavy techniques. The 100 mm handle fitted with Winn Dri-Tac knobs ensures a secure grip, even with wet hands or in cold weather. A practical feature is the integrated retractable hook keeper, which prevents damage to your rod guides during transport on the boat. Spool tension adjustment is simplified thanks to a click-adjustment system that allows anglers to instantly return to their preferred settings depending on lure weight. This combination of durability and smart features makes the Super Duty 300 a long-lasting investment for serious big bait fishing sessions.
