Rugged, minimalist, and made to move, its built for anglers who fish on their feet and dont flinch at rough conditions.
Who is the CAJO Terra 116 PDL designed for?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL is the stand-up focused hull in the Pro Series, a SUP-style platform with a reinforced no-flex deck aimed at anglers who fish on their feet and sight cast. It is 11 feet 6 inches long and 35 inches wide, with a 475-pound capacity and a 66-pound hull. The Outpost 128 PDL offers more deck space and load headroom on the same beam.
What are the CAJO Terra 116 PDL dimensions, hull weight and rigged weight?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL is 11 feet 6 inches long and 35 inches wide, with a published hull weight of 66 pounds and a published rigged weight of 77 pounds. It is a solo sit-on-top built from rotomolded high-density polyethylene. What the rigged figure counts is not published, so we do not interpret the gap. We publish imperial figures for this model because the metric conversion in circulation does not match.
How much weight can the CAJO Terra 116 PDL carry?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL has a maximum capacity of 475 pounds, and that figure is the complete operating load rather than a paddler allowance. Count the occupant, the seat, any pedal drive and its mount, a motor, a battery, electronics, tackle, coolers and any other cargo. Leave a safety and performance margin rather than loading to the published maximum, which is a limit rather than an everyday operating load.
What is included with the CAJO Terra 116 PDL, and does it include a pedal drive?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL base configuration does not include a pedal drive. The base kayak includes the hull with the eight-position high/low/tilt Horizon Pro Seat, three Power Plates, the bow motor mounting area, dual stern anchor-pole mounts, fish-finder mounting provision and the removable under-seat storage bin. A drive ships only when you select an option that expressly includes it, a fin drive needs its own mount, and no paddle is included.
What pedal, paddle and motor options can the CAJO Terra 116 PDL use?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL can be paddled, pedaled or motorized, with a motor mounting at the bow area. The rigid hulls take the CAJO Traverse Pedal Drive, and a compatible fin drive needs its own separate mount. Motor ready means the hull provides mounting locations. It does not mean a motor, battery, charger, mount, steering hardware, wiring, circuit protection or registration equipment is included; each is separate. No maximum thrust, horsepower or battery voltage is published for this hull. Send us five details kayak model, motor model, bow or stern mounting, steering method and battery setup and we will confirm what fits.
How do the CAJO Terra 116 PDL deck and Horizon Pro Seat support stand-up fishing?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL deck is reinforced to resist flex, which is what makes a standing platform feel solid rather than springy, and the 35-inch beam gives a wide base to work from. The Horizon Pro Seat has eight positions across high, low and tilt. Standing stability varies with your height and weight, load placement, wind, chop and practice, so try it in calm water first. The Horizon Elevated Seat Perch adds height.
How does the CAJO Terra 116 PDL accommodate electronics?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL provides mounting accommodation for a fish finder and for transducers up to 12 inches, plus three Power Plates giving dedicated points for electrical rigging. No fish finder, transducer or battery is included; the kayak supplies the mounting and wiring provision and the electronics are a separate purchase. Tell us which unit you plan to run and we will confirm the fit before you order.
How should the CAJO Terra 116 PDL be transported, cleaned and stored?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL should be rinsed with fresh water after saltwater use, dried, and stored out of prolonged direct sunlight. Support the hull evenly, because rotomolded polyethylene can deform where it rests on a single hard point over months. Use properly rated straps per your kayak, rack and vehicle instructions, tight enough to hold without visibly compressing the hull. Transport damage is excluded from warranty coverage. See our car-topping guide for loading options.
What warranty applies to the CAJO Terra 116 PDL, and how are claims handled?
The CAJO Terra 116 PDL hull carries lifetime limited coverage against manufacturing defects. Parts attached to the kayak are covered for one year, and an optional Traverse Pedal Drive carries five-year coverage, so different components run on different clocks. Proof of purchase is required and no registration deadline is published. Coverage is determined through the official warranty claim process; our team will help identify the component and assemble the required documentation. Exclusions are set out in the CAJO warranty policy.
