Here’s a small insert that sorts out a real build detail. It shims the blank inside the Fuji TCH reel seat and keeps 40 mm between the two parts of the seat. For 6 g of carbon, it does the job!

Shimming the Blank and Keeping 40 mm Apart

On a skeleton build, there’s a gap to fill between the blank and the reel seat. The insert takes care of it. It shims the blank and keeps a 40 mm space between the two parts of the seat. That measurement never changes from one build to the next, and that’s exactly what you want from it.

Size 13, Spinning and Casting

What about compatibility? The insert is made for Fuji TCH reel seats in size 13, spinning or casting. For spinning, it goes with the FUJI USK TCH spinning skeleton reel seat. For casting, it goes with the FUJI USK TCH casting skeleton reel seat. Size 13 is the slimmest in the TCH range, meant for small-diameter blanks.

On the other hand, it is sized for size 13 only. On a size 15 or larger reel seat, it won’t fit. Before ordering, check your blank’s diameter against the 6.3 mm inside diameter in the size guide.
