The Shakespeare SALT XT Beach Expedition rod is an exceptionally good multi-piece rod that is made with the best 24T carbon to make the rod incredible strong and still lightweight. Due to the use of spigot joints and the high quality carbon, the action of the rod has not been adversely affected. Next to that, the rod comes with special SW proof K-type guides to make sure that the line cannot get entangled around the guide, preventing knots or breakages.
