Restorline LineSPLICE provides a specialized adhesive solution designed specifically to bond and repair fly line coatings while maintaining the necessary flexibility for casting. Unlike standard cyanoacrylate glues that turn brittle, this formula cures into a tough, pliable rubber that mimics the mechanics of the original line, ensuring that repairs do not crack under stress. It is an essential tool for creating seamless transitions on custom line builds or smoothing out bulky loop-to-loop connections that might otherwise catch in rod guides.

Key Features

• Cures flexible to prevent cracking during casting
• Creates smooth, snag-free splices and connections
• Bonds permanently to PVC and polyurethane line coatings
• Waterproof formula suitable for fresh and saltwater environments

Why We Like It

We value this product because it significantly extends the usable life of expensive fly lines by effectively sealing cracks and nicks that would otherwise lead to core rot. The ability to create a low-profile, smooth coating over knots and splices improves line management, allowing connections to slide effortlessly through the guides when stripping line or fighting fish. It offers a professional-grade finish that integrates distinct line sections without creating the hinge points common with stiffer epoxies.
