The Rapala Original Floater has long been regarded as an essential lure thanks to its realistic woundedbaitfish action and impressive versatility across a wide range of fishing environments.

Crafted from buoyant balsa wood, it can be worked effectively from the surface to deeper zonestwitched across the top, retrieved as a shallow runner or weighted to reach fish holding lower in the water column.

Its natural minnow profile and responsive swimming motion make it highly effective over rocks, sand flats and weed beds, consistently attracting estuary and freshwater species. With durable throughwire construction, quality hooks and precise handtuning, this lure delivers dependable performance straight from the box.
