Power Pro Super Slick Braid V2

8-end Spectra. Enhanced Body Technology. The smooth braid upgrade.

The Power Pro Super Slick V2 is the next-generation 8-end Spectra fiber braid built for anglers who demand high-performance line. PowerPro’s Enhanced Body Technology (EBT) process produces a stronger, thinner, smoother, and quieter line than typical braids the result is less casting effort, more distance, and the kind of through-the-guides smoothness that pays off in long sessions. The 8-end dense weave construction means fewer backlashes, improved abrasion resistance, and a line that lasts seasons of saltwater abuse. Available in five colors (Onyx, Blue, Moonshine, Moss Green, Hi-Vis Aqua Green) and tests from 10 lb to 65 lb in 150-yard and 300-yard spools.

Why We Like It

Power Pro’s Super Slick V2 is the upgrade their line needed the 8-end weave with EBT processing produces a line that genuinely casts further, runs quieter through guides, and resists abrasion better than the original Power Pro. The 8-end construction is the differentiator vs. 4-end braids in this price range more strands means less rough texture and less line damage from sharp guide rings. For the everyday Northeast inshore angler running 30 lb braid, this is the value upgrade pick over standard Power Pro at a similar price point.
