Lowrance Elite FS 9 with Active Imaging 3-in-1 Fish Finder & Chartplotter

Manufacturer part number: 000-15693-001 | Display: 9-inch multi-touch | Region: ROW (Rest of World) | Included sonar transducer: Active Imaging 3-in-1.

Product overview

The Lowrance Elite Fishing System 9 combines a high-visibility 9-inch touchscreen with GPS navigation, CHIRP sonar, DownScan Imaging, SideScan imaging and flexible marine networking. The supplied Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer lets you examine underwater structure to either side and beneath the boat while tracking traditional sonar targets. The unit is suitable for anglers who want an integrated chartplotter and fishfinder rather than a stand-alone depth instrument.

Key capabilities

• Active Imaging 3-in-1 included: conventional Lowrance CHIRP, SideScan and DownScan Imaging from one compatible transducer.
• FishReveal: combines CHIRP fish-target information with DownScan Imaging for easier interpretation of fish and submerged cover.
• ActiveTarget 2 ready: supports compatible live sonar hardware purchased separately.
• Active Imaging HD expansion: supported with the separately purchased S3100 sonar module and compatible equipment; this package’s included Active Imaging 3-in-1 is not the HD transducer.
• Chartplotting and mapping: built-in GPS, waypoints and routes, worldwide basemap, compatible C-MAP and Navionics upgrades, Genesis Live mapping.
• Marine networking: Ethernet and NMEA 2000 connectivity plus integrated wireless for compatible equipment and accessories.
• Touchscreen control: clear display and configurable layouts for simultaneous sonar and map views.

Sonar: what each view shows

CHIRP conventional sonar is used for fish arches, bait, depth changes and bottom tracking. DownScan Imaging provides a more detailed view of objects directly under the hull, helping distinguish weeds, branches, rocks and bottom transitions. SideScan imaging examines underwater structure to port and starboard and is valuable for locating banks, ledges and other fish-holding areas. The quality of all sonar views depends on transducer placement, water conditions, range and speed.

Navigation and charts

The ROW unit is supplied with a worldwide basemap. Additional detailed regional maps are not guaranteed in the box; choose compatible C-MAP or Navionics chart products appropriate for the Baltic Sea, inland waters or other cruising areas. Depending on charts and software, supported functions include route planning and Genesis Live depth-contour recording. An available chart feature is not the same thing as included cartography.

Connectivity and optional expansion

Elite FS integrates with compatible NMEA 2000 sensors and supported Lowrance systems. Selected Lowrance Recon and Ghost trolling motors, Power-Pole anchors and optional sonar modules can be controlled or integrated with the relevant external equipment. Check hardware compatibility, cabling and firmware requirements before purchasing additional components. ActiveTarget 2 sonar is an optional system and does not come with this 000-15693-001 bundle.

Technical specifications

Package contents

The official manufacturer configuration for SKU 000-15693-001 identifies the Elite FS 9 display and Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer, with a preloaded worldwide basemap. Before installation, verify the current regional package list for exact mounting bracket, transducer bracket, power cable, cover and small hardware. Do not assume that external chart cards, ActiveTarget 2 equipment or an S3100 module are included.

Installation advice

Choose a secure helm location, allow clearance for rear connectors, and follow the Lowrance mounting template and electrical instructions. For reliable side and down imaging, mount the transducer in clean water flow with sufficient clearance from engine turbulence. Connect optional NMEA 2000 and Ethernet devices using correctly specified cabling and network power arrangements.
