What makes Eagle Eye different?

Lowrance Eagle Eye puts real-time forward-looking and downward-looking sonar into a convenient, integrated fishfinding system. Unlike modular live-sonar arrangements that require a separate black-box unit, Eagle Eye provides four complementary fishfinding views from its supplied transducer without a separate live-sonar module. It is designed for anglers who want to see fish and lure movement in real time, investigate bottom features and navigate between saved fishing locations.

• Live Forward: observe fish and lure movement in front of the boat to plan casts and assess target behavior.
• Live Down: see fish and structure in real time under the boat, especially useful when fishing vertically.
• CHIRP sonar: conventional sonar for fish-target interpretation, depth tracking and bottom composition clues.
• DownScan Imaging with FishReveal: combine structure detail beneath the boat with highlighted fish targets.

Live sonar is integrated into the Eagle Eye package, so a separate ActiveTarget 2 module is not required. However, Eagle Eye’s focused forward and down views are not equivalent to purchasing an ActiveTarget 2 system; operation, viewing modes and expansion possibilities differ. The integrated transducer is specifically designed for Eagle Eye.

Screen and everyday operation

The 9-inch IPS display has a 1024 600 pixel resolution and 1,000-nit rated brightness for clear visibility in sunlight and from wide viewing angles. Autotuning live sonar reduces setup time, while the straightforward Eagle user interface is intended to make sonar options accessible without complex configuration.

GPS navigation and chart options

An integrated chartplotter and preloaded worldwide basemap help navigate to fishing marks and saved locations. Optional compatible C-MAP DISCOVER charts provide greater detail; regional Baltic charts are not confirmed as included in this package. Genesis Live mapping is available in supported charting workflows. Check your intended fishing waters and chart compatibility before purchasing upgrades.
