Graphite – Lamsons Purists are built out of highly responsive graphite in two-piece and four-piece configurations. This blank is super lightweight with a progressive taper. Its soft tip transfers into a mid-section designed for accuracy, and the rod finishes off with a stiff butt section that delivers all the power you need. One of those blanks that lets you feel every part of the cast, youll love the Purist when sending dry flies over rising fish.

Taking a classic look, Lamson gives the Purist a natural graphite thats half-sanded with a sprayed clear coat. The thread wraps are a complementary smoke color with crimson accent wraps, giving the Purist a look thats stealthy and fits into any environment.

Fusion Format Hard Chrome Guides with SiC Stripper Guides – Building on that lightweight feel, Lamson outfits the Purist series with their Fusion Format Guides, all of which are hard-chromed. This Fusion Format configuration consists of small, thin wire single-foot guides in the top 1/3rd of the rod, followed by traditional snake guides in the bottom 2/3rds. What this does is decrease weight by reducing the number of thread wraps and epoxy, while increasing feel with a clean transition of energy. Also, for long-lasting durability, these guides are all hard chromed.
