Built to maximize the strengths of modern cast construction, the Lamson Liquid S HD Fly Reel delivers durability, versatility, and solid affordability in a rugged, full-frame design. As an evolution of the original Liquid platform, the HD version incorporates a full cage frame to eliminate line slip and increase overall strength, making it an ideal choice for Spey, switch, and Euro nymphing applications with thin lines. Designed with a large arbor for fast retrieval and clean line management, the Liquid S HD is a dependable, high-value option for anglers who demand performance without unnecessary complexity. Offered in a convenient 3-pack configuration, this setup includes one reel and two additional spools in a protective carrying case, giving anglers the flexibility to switch between multiple lines quickly and efficiently on the water. Made in sizes that handle rod weights 4 through 10, the Liquid S HD has an option whether youre working all columns of a lake for big largemouth bass and pike or fishing a full day on your favorite trout river covering everything from tightline nymphing to an afternoon rise and all the way into an evening of stripping streamers.

Design
Full Frame Design Lamsons Liquid S HD features a full cage frame that completely captures thin running lines and mono, preventing slippage between the spool and frame. Its pocket spar construction enhances strength while maintaining a light profile, giving the angler a strong, impact-resistant reel that stands up to it all. The large diameter spool design promotes even line lay and fast pickup, while an ergonomic drag knob allows for quick, confident adjustments in any environment.

Finish
Polyurethane Finish Finished with a durable polyurethane coating, Lamsons Liquid S HD is built to resist wear, corrosion, and everyday abuse. The finish maintains a clean appearance while providing long-lasting protection across freshwater and light saltwater use.

Materials
Pressure Cast Aluminum Construction The Liquid S HD utilizes a pressure-cast aluminum frame and spool, delivering excellent strength-to-weight performance. This construction allows for complex structural reinforcement while keeping costs accessible, resulting in a rugged, reliable reel platform suited for a range of applications.

Drag
Sealed Conical Drag System Equipped with Lamsons sealed conical drag, the Liquid S HD delivers smooth, consistent resistance with reliable startup performance. The sealed design protects internal components from water, dirt, and debris, ensuring dependable operation and long-term durability.

Arbor Size
Large Arbor The large arbor design improves line retrieval speed and reduces line memory, helping anglers maintain control during fast runs and efficiently manage slack. This design also supports ample backing capacity for targeting larger, more powerful fish.
