Description

Hayabusa Heavy Circle Hook 7/0 Circle Hook for Live & Cut Bait (3 pcs)

The Hayabusa Heavy Circle Hook is a 7/0 circle hook for bait fishing, sold in a pack of 3. It is made by Hayabusa, the Japanese hook maker. A circle hook works differently from a normal J-hook: the point turns back toward the shank. When a fish takes the bait and swims off, the line slides the hook to the corner of the mouth, where it usually sets on its own. You don’t need a hard strike, just reel steadily to tighten the line. Because fish are more often hooked in the mouth rather than deep in the throat, unhooking is easier and releasing fish is safer. The 7/0 size suits larger baits. It is a simple, practical hook for Indian anglers who fish with live or cut bait.

Features

• Circle hook shape: the point turns inward, so the hook slides to the corner of the mouth as the line tightens.
• Sets with a steady pull: you don’t need a hard strike; reel firmly and the hook does the work.
• Mouth hooking: fish are less likely to swallow the hook, so unhooking is quicker.
• Better for catch and release: mouth-hooked fish can be released with less harm.
• Size 7/0: a large size for bigger baits.
• 3 hooks per pack: enough for several rigs or replacements.

Ideal Use cases

• Live bait fishing: the circle shape lets the fish take the bait and swim off before the hook sets.
• Cut and dead bait fishing: works with a steady pull, which suits rods left in a holder.
• Larger baits: the 7/0 size has room for bigger bait pieces.
• Catch and release: mouth hooking makes releasing fish easier and safer.
• Beginners in bait fishing: you don’t need to time a hard strike.
