High-quality feathers with a look like nothing else can provide, Hareline’s Silver Pheasant Body Feathers ensure your flies stand out. Sourced from the body of a silver pheasant, these feathers are relatively flat and display a bold barred effect that is unique. Their soft, webby fibers make them excellent for crafting cheeks on streamers, like the famous Grey Ghost. Each bag contains a generous quantity of feathers, available in a wide range of colors, suitable for every fly you can imagine.

Uses

Hareline’s Silver Pheasant Body Feathers are ideal for tying cheeks on streamers and some steelhead/salmon flies. Their webby characteristics also allow them to be palmered to create a long collar.

Comparisons

Because Silver Pheasant Body Feathers have such a unique appearance, there really isn’t a great alternative. Mallard Flank feathers have a somewhat similar barring effect, but they are much more curved, making them less suitable for tying cheeks on streamers.
