Comfort and precision for light jigging and tenya

A lightweight design for vertical fishing

The Shimano Grappler BB 151 HG immediately stands out thanks to its light weight, making it an ideal match for modern slow jigging rods. Unlike traditional round reels that are often bulkier, this compact-profile model provides an ergonomic grip that significantly reduces muscle fatigue. This allows you to perform precise lure actions for hours without excessive wrist strain. Its balance with technical blanks turns every drift into a smoother and more responsive fishing experience.

Technical control and cranking power

Equipped with an extended power handle, this casting reel delivers increased torque for efficiently pulling hard-fighting fish from deep water. The adjustable SVS centrifugal braking system reduces the risk of backlashes when dropping lures or making short underhand casts. Its 5 kg drag, both smooth and consistent, provides the security needed to control seabream or large pollock when fishing vertically. This model stands out as a high-performance technical solution for slow jigging with lightweight and manageable gear.
