The Gillies Pilchard Pro is a versatile metal lure designed to imitate fast-moving baitfish, making it a must-have for any anglers tackle box. Engineered with a streamlined shape and reflective finish, it delivers strong visual flash to attract predators from a distance. Its heavy weight allows it to cast long and straight, while also performing effectively when trolled or jigged.

When jigging in deeper water, switching the hook to the front end helps the lure track naturally and maintain balance. On a high-speed retrieve, the Pilchard Pro mimics the frantic motion of a fleeing fish, enticing strikes from powerful pelagic species such as tailor, salmon, trevally, kingfish, mackerel, and tuna. Built for reliability and action, this lure is ideal for casting into feeding frenzies from the boat, beach, or shore.
