From flounder chasing sand shrimp in a marsh to weakfish feasting on grass shrimp along a sod bank, the EP Ultra Shrimp Fly is one that you can count on anytime shrimp are on the menu. A solid imitation for a variety of shrimp species, the EP Ultra Shrimp Fly has a lifelike profile and tons of built-in movement. Combining a two-tone EP Fiber body with rubber legs, realistic eyes, hints of flash, and a weed guard makes this fly a great choice whether you’re in a tidal river, casting into mangroves, hitting the first trough, or working your way through an estuary system.

The EP Ultra Shrimp Fly can be fished on a floating, intermediate, or even a sinking line when prospecting the bottom, and it works best with a stripped retrieve that incorporates an occasional pause. A great pattern to have on hand year-round in tropical environments and from spring through fall in the northeast, the EP Ultra Shrimp gives a super realistic approach to fooling those shrimp-eating species.
