From the Bahamas to the Keys to most other saltwater environments, the EP Bahamas Shrimp Fly is an excellent choice when you’re looking to match crustaceans. Coming from the Enrico Puglisi family of flies, the EP Bahamas Shrimp Fly is a pattern that can imitate most shrimp species ranging from sand shrimp, grass shrimp, mantis shrimp, and much more. Designed with a realistic shrimp profile, just the right amount of flash, and a body that moves well in the water, this is a great choice whether you’re on a sandy flat, an open beach, a tidal river, or an estuary.

While it was designed for warm and tropical waters, the EP Bahamas Shrimp Fly can also be used in cooler northeast environments for striped bass, weakfish, and other species from spring through fall. An easy fly to fish, the EP Bahamas Shrimp Fly rides with its hook point up to prevent snags and benefits from a stripped retrieve with an occasional pause. Bonefish tailing on the flats to striped bass digging in the mud, the EP Bahamas Shrimp can handle it all.
