Fast sinking lines, flies the size of your hand, brown trout eats that are burnt into your brain for the next fifteen years, Echos Streamer X is a fly rod that was made for all things streamer fishing. Taking design inspiration from streamer pioneer Kelly Galloup, the Streamer X series are fast action rods that are made to increase accuracy and power while providing a lightweight feel that wont cause fatigue after a day of chucking large flies. A 9ft fly rod thats available in weights 6 through 8, this mid-price collection has a model thats sure to meet your streamer demands, and if theyre good enough for the man himself, you can count on these rods to handle whatever fishing situations you come across and deliver those Zoo Cougars and Wooly Sculpins with ease.

Blank

Graphite Blank – Echos Streamer X collection of rods has a fast action graphite blank thats made to cast large, bulky flies with ease. The Echo Streamer X has a unique taper that pairs a powerful bottom section for generating efficient line speed with a fast tip to help initiate your cast whenever you have minimal line hanging out of your guides. This makes a great tool for fishing sinking lines and large flies and allows for smooth, accurate casting that allows you to hit a tennis ball from fifty feet away. And whenever you find yourself wanting to swap the Butt Monkeys for a nymphing indicator rig, dont worry, as this rod can handle that just the same. Coming in a sleek gray color, these rods blend into the world around them and look good doing it.

Guides

Nickel Titanium Snake Guides – Crafted with high-quality components, Echos Streamer X rods have oversized nickel-titanium guides. An excellent choice in guides, especially for the streamer-specific angler, these offer slick shooting, long-term durability, and will also resist rust and corrosion.

Reel Seat

Anodized aluminum reel seat – Designed to handle harsh conditions and heavy fish, Echo outfits their Streamer X series of rods with an anodized aluminum reel seat. A tough addition, this creates a sturdy feel and helps deliver the power you need to turn large fish. Not only is it a strong addition, but it also will resist rust and corrosion. A dual-uplocking construction also ensures that your reel is seated nicely no matter how tough the battle.

Rod Tube

Fabric-covered rod tube and sock – Whether youre boarding a plane to Kellys home waters or just want to add some peace of mind to your rod storage, youll appreciate the Streamer X rods coming with a fabric-covered rod tube and sock.

Warranty

As of January 2021, Echo honors a warranty service to the original owner of any of their fly rods that lasts the natural life of each rod. Echo will cover both manufacturer defects and poor workmanship, and if your rod breaks due to neglect, then a service fee will be charged (fees vary depending on specific rod models); if after inspection of the rod Echo finds that it was broken due to poor workmanship or materials, Echo will waive the service fee. Once Echo receives your fly rod, their warranty process typically takes between 1 and 2 weeks.
