This ensures exceptional spool packing with no flattening or digging inindispensable for smooth casting under pressure.

Unmatched Sensitivity and Strength

C16s fine diameter reduces line drag when trolling or fighting big fish, while its 16-fiber structure offers outstanding resistance to nicks and abrasions during long, taxing battles. The gel-spun fibers impart virtually zero stretch, delivering ultra-responsive sensitivity and immediate hooksets that are essential when seconds matter.

Durable Finish and Enhanced Handling

Enjoy long-lasting performance with Cortlands proprietary FiberTech treatmenta unique penetration (not coating) that bonds to individual fibers, stiffening the braid and improving handling. Paired with ColorLast technology for permanent, non-fading coloration, the line stays durable and slickcasting further and lasting longer without excess stiffness.

Engineered for Seamless Splicing

Thanks to its spliceable hollow-core construction, C16 allows fast and reliable end-loop or direct splicing to monofilament or fluorocarbon leaders. This makes it perfect for building wind-on leaders or connecting top shots quicklywithout compromising strength or performance.
