Fjord Nansen FJALAR XL is a 210D nylon compression sack for synthetic and down sleeping bags. The manufacturer specifies size XL for sleeping bags above 1.2 kg and states that its compression straps can reduce packed sleeping-bag volume by approximately 3040%.
The compression-strap system reduces the volume of a packed sleeping bag, making bulky insulation easier to fit into a backpack or travel bag.
