Carbon rear grip by Rodbuilders’ Republic, designed for Fuji TCH Skeleton spinning reel seats. It extends the reel seat towards the back, with a very clean finish. The result: a minimalist, light and technical build.

An ultra-light grip for a sensitive rod

This grip weighs between 3.1 and 3.7 g depending on the version. It adds almost no weight to the back of the rod. With a Skeleton reel seat, the blank stays in contact with your hand. Every vibration travels up to your fingers. It is the ideal match for a light rod, where every bite needs to be felt.

Flared or straight: which one to choose?

Size 13 comes in two shapes. The flared model is shorter (35 mm) and widens clearly at the end, up to 25.9 mm. The straight model is longer (40 mm) and slimmer, with a more discreet profile. It is mainly a matter of feel in the hand and looks. Size 15 only comes in the straight shape.

Assembly

All versions have a 6.5 mm inside diameter. Measure your blank where the grip will sit. If it is thicker, ream the grip. If it is thinner, fill the gap with shims. Then glue with epoxy. For a consistent set-up, pair this grip with the Fuji TCH Skeleton spinning reel seat of the same size.
