Technical expertise and application

Ultrapoint sharpness for demanding fishing

The Ultrapoint hook technology developed by Mustad provides an exceptionally fine point while maintaining excellent structural strength. During jigging sessions, this point remains effective despite repeated contact with rocks or the bony jaws of powerful predators. You benefit from superior penetration that consistently converts subtle bites into solid hooksets. The wide gap of this model has been specifically designed to increase hook-up ratios on fast-attacking fish.

Kevlar protection and visual attraction

The use of a Kevlar assist line provides essential protection against clean cuts often caused by the abrasive teeth of reef fish. This technical fiber is firmly bound and varnished to ensure increased durability even after prolonged and intense fights. The Tinsel flash fibers tied on the shank create bright reflections that guide the predators strike directly toward the hook point. This system also helps the fish inhale the rig more easily, optimizing jig presentation at all depths.
