The Simms Scout Hip Pack is a streamlined, low-profile carry that keeps core fishing gear organized and within easy reach without getting in the way of your cast. Built around a stable lumbar ride, it blends purposeful storage with a clean exterior so you can move confidently through current, brush, and boat decks.

Its layout prioritizes fast access to flies, tippet, and tools, while the belt anchors the load comfortably for long walk-and-wade sessions. Durable, water-resistant materials and smart on-pack attachment options make it a reliable choice for days when you want capability without bulk.

Why We Like It

It delivers the right balance of capacity, organization, and freedom of movement. The Scout Hip Pack keeps essentials organized and accessible, yet its trim shape stays put while wading and doesnt snag line or brush.

We also like that it holds up to hard use. The materials shrug off spray and abrasion, the belt remains comfortable all day, and the exterior attachment options let you tailor the setup to your tools so you can fish efficiently from the first cast to the hike out.
