This 5X extra long, straight eyed streamer and bucktail hook is the perfect choice for tying very big fish imitations, targeting early season or large fish-eating fish. Popular patterns are Thunder Creek minnows or Wooly Buggers. Use it to imitate baitfish, leeches or even big water living insects. Use it for Trout or Rainbows in lakes or rivers. The Mustad Signature fly hooks feature unique sharpness and strength. Developed in cooperation with the world’s top fly tiers to exact proportions between, gap, bend, wire diameter and shank length for precise scaling unmatched by others. Micro barb can easily be pinched down without damaging the hook for barbless applications.
