Precision-engineered for Wacky and Neko rigs

An optimized bend for worms and creature baits

The Gamakatsu Worm 318 Wacky has been specifically designed to deliver a natural bait presentation as your lure sinks through the water column. Its extra-wide round bend accommodates a wide range of soft plastics, from traditional stick worms to bulkier creature baits such as the Coike. This unique shape keeps the hook point fully exposed for maximum hook-up efficiency while allowing the bait to move freely and produce the subtle vibrations that trigger strikes from even the most cautious predators.

Outstanding sharpness for finesse fishing

Like all Gamakatsu hooks, the Worm 318 Wacky benefits from the brand’s renowned steel treatment and manufacturing expertise for exceptional durability. Its straight point is designed to remain razor-sharp after long fishing sessions and repeated contact with submerged cover. This instant penetration is a major advantage when targeting largemouth bass and perch, where strikes can be incredibly subtle or lightning fast. The discreet NS Black finish further enhances its effectiveness by reducing visibility underwater while providing the strength needed to handle hard-fighting fish.
